Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On March 30, 2020, Richard F. Pops submitted his resignation from the Board of Directors of Epizyme, Inc., effective upon the earlier of the appointment of a new director to the Board of Directors or October 31, 2020. Mr. Pops indicated that he resigned to lessen the number of public companies on which he serves as a director in response to the over boarding policies of certain institutional investors.
